Job Statement:
Manage installation of assigned projects within cost estimates & time schedule, and to the customer's satisfaction.
Essential/Critical Functions and Responsibilities:

Develop a plan (utilizing scheduling software) on complex projects to accomplish the expected result and meet commitments

Consistently complete assignments within (or better than) the estimated time allotted.

Provide leadership to others in the organization

Verify that the HVAC and control systems are working correctly and efficiently at project close out. Establish warranty dates with customer

Verify customer satisfaction with work performed

Regular review and update of project costs
-
Insure customers know how to operate the system. Providing limited on-site customer training or coordinate with SmartEdge Training Center
-
Identify, estimate (using Studio), quote, book, plan, coordinate, and execute change order opportunities. Work with Sales on quoting complex projects
-
Coordinate all Contractor, Subcontractor, Owner and Engineer issues
-
Have regular interaction with Service Coordinator regarding Technicians schedules in an effort to accomplish all work efficiently and correctly the first time

Direct the Application engineering, material procurement, software, and check/test/start (CTS)

Supervise assigned Automation Technicians to insure effective CTS on projects
-
Interaction with, direction to, and evaluation of Service Technician and Application Engineer performance to technical supervisors

Generate monthly billings for each project

Issue subcontracts and manage subcontractor schedules

Maintain a positive cash flow on each project. Resolve billing/invoicing issues as required

Prepare punch lists as required

Provide O&M, As Builts and all close out paperwork timely

Warranty issue resolution as required

Perform job wrap up analysis and review with all individuals on job

Assist with project related collection issues

Project size in excess of $500K and/or at least 10 projects totaling $1.5M
Education and Experience:
-
Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems, the theory of component operation and overall system interaction
-
Must have 4+ years of field experience working with various types of HVAC and/or electrical systems
-
10 + Years of field experience working with various types of HVAC and/or electrical systems
-
Preferred 2 year AAS degree in mechanical or electrical field
-
Member of PMI, with at least one PMI certification helpful or a professional organization related to the Energy or Construction field helpful but not required
